Coming off a career-caliber season, Bradley Beal has many reasons to be appreciative for a strong season despite the Washington Wizards being eliminated in the first-round of the NBA Playoffs. He now has one more joyous reason to be appreciative, as he and his girlfriend Kamiah Adams announced the are expecting their first child together.
Beal shared the wonderful news:
“As we patiently await for your arrival, I reflect about how excited I am! It’s cliche but words really can’t explain it. The affect and changes you’ve made in my life have not only been great, but necessary! Different emotions, new perspectives, maturity level, the list goes on and on. @kamiahadams and I promise to love you, protect you, teach you, support you, respect you, and be the best parents we can possibly be!” Beal wrote on his IG post.
Beal averaged 22.6 points with career-highs of 4.5 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals. 2017-18 was his second consecutive season averaging at least 22 points a game. Despite struggles on the road, Beal still averaged an impressive 23.2 points during six games in the playoffs. He also shot a playoff career-high of 46.7 percent from three-point range.
