After being listed as questionable with an upper-body injury after a hit back in Game 2 against the boards, Evgeny Kuznetsov not only suited up but delivered a huge goal in the second period to extend the Washington Capitals’ lead to 2-0 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Capitals got the breakaway with Jay Beagle leading the way. Kuznetsov got the drop and beat Marc-Andre Fleury with a point-blank fire from the left circle.

Kuznetsov gave his now patented bird flapping celebration.
The Capitals took that two-goal into the second intermission, leaving them 20 minutes away from taking a 2-1 series lead.
