Juan Soto Becomes Youngest to Steal Three Bases in MLB History

The Year of Juan Soto continues. The 19-year old Washington Nationals rookie continues to collect milestones as a teenager. In Saturday’s 7-1 win over the Atlanta Braves, Soto became the youngest player in Major League Baseball to steal three bases in a single game.

The feat surpasses the previous youngest, Rickey Henderson, by nearly a full year of age.

By the way, Henderson is the all-time steals leader. Soto has been on a tear since being unexpectedly being called up by the Nationals in May. He has blossomed into a Rookie of the Year candidate in N.L. hitting .304 with 20 home runs, 63 RBIs, and 74 walks. After collecting all of his accomplishments, Soto is putting together one of the greatest seasons by a teenager in MLB history. Now, he is adding the ability to steal bases to his repertoire.
