Anthony Rendon was ejected in the seventh inning Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers after arguing with home plate umpire CB Bucknor.

Rendon was rung out by Bucknor on a pitch that seemed to be off the plate. The Washington Nationals third baseman was not pleased with the call and after exchanging words Bucknor tossed him.

Rendon went a disappointing 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in his first game since he was activated from the 10-day injured list with an elbow contusion.

The Nationals went on to lose 6-0 dropping to 14-21 on the season.

After the game, Rendon finished his press conference by taping two pictures to his locker of the pitch — the pitcher’s view and the umpire’s view, according to Sam Fortier of the Washington Post. Both images showed the pitch on the outside.
