The Washington Nationals-Atlanta Braves game had a scary moment when National centerfielder Victor Robles abruptly dropped to one knee while standing in the outfield.
Teammate Juan Soto immediately waved to the dugout for assistance. Robles talked with trainers as he sat down. Eventually he walked off to the trainer’s room on his own accord.
The talented 21-year old was not involved in a play or collision prior to his exit of the game. There was nothing out of the ordinary in his pre-game routine according to Byron Kerr of MASN.
As the Nationals look to win their sixth straight game, focus will certainly shift to the well-being of Victor Robles.
