DeSean Jackson Burns Josh Norman for 51-yard TD

The Washington Redskins defense finally blinked after dominating the Philadelphia Eagles offense for much of the first half. Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson torched his former teammate Josh Norman for a 51-yard touchdown.

The Eagles had 78 yards on their first 24 offensive plays, as the Redskins swarmed on defense to build a 17-0 lead with a high-powered passing game.

Jackson’s scorcher cut the deficit to 17-7 and showed just how dangerous the Eagles offense can be with explosive plays. Hopefully for the Redskins that play will turn out to be an aberration, and the defense will settle back in.
