The Washington Redskins will be without pass rusher Cassanova McKinzy and cornerback Quinton Dunbar Monday night against the Chicago Bears.
For Dunbar this is his second straight game he will miss due to a knee injury. Dunbar has missed 11 games, including nine last season, in the past two seasons.
On the good news front, cornerback Fabian Moreau will return from his ankle injury after missing the first two games of the season. He is expected to start on the outside in Dunbar’s place opposite of Josh Norman.
McKinzy has a hip injury that required an MRI following Week 2’s loss to Dallas. The Redskins signed pass rusher Noah Spence to prepare for the impending absence of McKinzy. Spence will serve as the fourth outside linebacker.
Quarterback Colt McCoy (leg) and tight end Jordan Reed (concussion) will be officially inactive. Neither has played this season with their respective injuries. And there is concern and doubt if Reed will ever return to play.
Rookie offensive linemen Wes Martin and Ross Pierschbacher will be healthy scratches for the third consecutive game. Defensive lineman TY McGill will be inactive as well.
One name not on the inactive list is defensive lineman Jonathan Allen. The Redskins’ stud missed last week’s game against Dallas with a knee injury. However, he vowed he would play Monday night.
