Hours after Redskins head coach Jay Gruden named Colt McCoy Washington’s starting quarterback for Sunday against the New England Patriots, two videos surfaced on social media of a man that appears to be an inebriated Gruden in questionable behavior.
The videos were posted by a user named @bubbachuck757 on Twitter. But shortly after the account went private. However, other users were able to grab the videos and post them.
In the first video, the man who appears to be Gruden is seen smoking and staring in the camera while others chant his name.
In the other video a man in a white T-shirt that looks like Gruden is seen sitting on the curb talking to a woman sitting either on or in between his legs. It’s unclear who the woman is.
JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reached out to the Redskins about the videos, but they declined to comment on the matter.
Gruden has been under scrutiny as the Redskins have lost each of their first four games. Many believe he is on thin ice, and his firing could be imminent. It’s unclear if these videos will affect his status, if proven to be him.
