Marcus Morris is one of the more emotional players in the NBA. Going against his twin brother’s former team, the Washington Wizards in a preseason game, Morris let his emotions get the best of him while being guarded by Justin Anderson.
Anderson tightened his defense on Morris, which clearly frustrated the New York Knicks forward. As he deliberately clunked Anderson with the basketball after delivering an elbow to his face.
Anderson was visibly upset and approached Morris before players from both teams separated the two.
Morris was ejected for his actions 13 seconds into the third quarter. His ejection ruined an otherwise stellar game by him. He had 17 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
Usually it’s Markieff who gets agitated, leading to early showers. Maybe Marcus felt obligated to have a Morris annoying another player or official at the home floor of the Wizards?
