The Washington Wizards revealed new Statement uniforms, but they aren’t so new. The blue-based uniforms look the same as the previous couple of seasons with Nike, except one change.
The “Washington” script has been replaced with “The District of Columbia” that was previous used on the City Edition uniforms in 2017-18 and 2018-19.
While having DC on one of their main jerseys is admirable, the fact they’ve used it before on other editions, gives a stale update. And fans are not happy.
This is so trash.

Having basically the same uniforms just changing the chest plate script is ironically not making a statement.
if you still think they are “fire” or just want to rep your favorite team, the Wizards Statement jerseys will be available for sale on Oct. 20.
