The World Series is now set. The Washington Nationals (National League Champions) will face the Houston Astros (American League Champions) in the Fall Classic, best-of-seven series.

Game 1 will be Houston on Oct. 22.

Each game will be exclusively televised on FOX. Nationally, ESPN Radio will handle the radio coverage.

The Nationals clinched their berth in the World Series first, sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS. Washington outscored the Cardinals 20-6 in the series. The Nationals starting pitching stifled the Cardinals, allowing just four earned runs in 26 2/3 innings, including back-to-back one-hit efforts by Anibal Sanchez and three-time Cy Young winner Max Scherzer.

The Astros clinched their berth late Saturday night, beating the New York Yankees in six games of the ALCS. Jose Altuve smacked a walk-off two-run home run in Game 6.

The best starting rotations in their respective league are set to oppose each other in a battle of pitching Goliaths. Houston features the amazing trio of Gerrit Cole, Justin Verlander and Zach Greinke. Meanwhile, the Nationals have Stephen Strasburg and Patrick Corbin alongside Scherzer.
