Mike Locksley continues to flex his recruiting muscle as the Maryland Terrapins picked up another huge commitment on offense. The Terrapins landed Oklahoma four-star running back Isaiah Jacobs.
Jacobs is the brother of Oakland Raiders and former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs. Locksley was the co-offensive coordinator while Josh was with the Crimson Tide.
Jacobs stands 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds. He is rated as the fourth-best player in the state of Oklahoma, according to Rivals. He chose Maryland over Michigan, Arkansas, and Oklahoma State.
Jacobs’ commitment was the second big pickup of National Signing Day for Maryland. DC five-star wide receiver Rakim Jarrett flipped his commitment from LSU to the Terrapins earlier in the day.
Locksley had a rocky first year as Maryland’s head coach in 2019 on the field. However, he has shown his prowess with recruiting landing a solid class that is currently in the Top 30 with Rivals.
