Bradley Beal continues to build on his stellar Washington Wizards’ career. Monday with a opened three from the top surpassed Bullets’ legend Wes Unseld for fourth on the franchise’s all-time scoring list.
Beal entered Monday’s game against the Detroit Pistons needing 18 points to pass Unseld. He scored 17 in the first half, including a nasty crossover on Andre Drummond that led into a step-back three.
In the third quarter, Beal wasted no time getting the bucket to move into fourth. The basket gave him 10,625 points in his NBA career.
Bradley Beal now only trails, Elvin Hayes (15,551), Jeff Malone (11,083) and teammate John Wall (10,879).
Beal signed a two-year max extension this season, keeping him under contract through the 2022-23 season. There will be a lot more scoring in a Wizards uniform for the two-time All-Star.
