Bradley Beal sent Andre Drummond sliding and his Washington Wizards bench into euphoria with a nasty crossover in Monday’s matinee against the Detroit Pistons.
Drummond switched on Beal at the top of the key, and the Wizards guard made him pay for it. Beal’s snatch back crossover nearly floored the Pistons center before draining the step-back three.
The Capital One Arena crowd was in awe and the Wizards bench mob responded appropriately. Wizards forward Moritz Wagner gestured Drummond may need to check the grip on his sneakers.
Beal scored 10 points in the first quarter, including the highlight-worthy step-back three.
