Bobby Portis had his night cut short Wednesday. The New York Knicks forward was insanely ejected after tossing the ball directly at Washington Wizards guard Shabazz Napier.
Napier shot the basketball ball from three-point range after a timeout was called on the floor. However, in a Kevin Garnett-like manner, Portis blocked the ball from going in the hoop. Napier responded with a sarcastic thumbs up that prompted Portis to toss the ball at him.
Napier gave threw his hands up at the officials and referee Zach Zarba ejected Portis immediately, despite Portis didn’t have a prior technical.
Portis had seemingly been frustrated throughout the night with Zarba and the physicality of the game, particularly with Wizards forward Moritz Wagner, who also ejected from the game later.
