Howie Kendrick takes dig at Astros during Nationals’ virtual World Series ring ceremony

The Washington Nationals revealed their 2019 World Series rings during a virtual ring ceremony. Nationals’ infielder Howie Kendrick reflected on his multiple heroic moments during their title run. He also took the opportunity to take a dig at the cheating Houston Astros.

Kendrick missed the the Nationals first Zoom round when former teammate Brian Dozier roasted the Astros and their cheating ways. Thus, Kendrick made sure to speak his peace Sunday night.

The Astros’ players and MLB Commissioner Rod Manfred would like for fans to believe the Astros’ cheating was limited to their 2017 World Series run. However, the Nationals have provided details they believed the cheating continued through the 2019 season. The New York Yankees will second that. The Nationals did MLB a huge favor, beating the Astros in seven games.
