Watch: Juan Soto crushes longest career HR at Citi Field for the second time this week

Juan Soto must love the Mets’ Citi Field. The Washington Nationals’ slugger hit the longest home run of his career at Citi Field for the second time this week. Two days after hitting a 463-foot homer to dead center, Soto hit a moonshot 466 feet that cleared the stadium.

Soto now has two of the four longest home runs of the season.

After an amazing rookie campaign in 2018, Soto eased the departure of Bryce Harper, cementing himself as the Nationals’ clean-up hitter last season. And with the departure of Anthony Rendon, Soto has become the undisputed face of the Nationals.

It’s worth repeating Juan Soto missed the start of the 2020 season after a positive test for COVID-19. Yet, he hasn’t missed a beat on the field since debuting.
