Watch: Chase Young stuffs Adrian Peterson at goal line

There is no disputing the potential of Washington Football Team rookie defensive end Chase Young. In fact, his only battle is with himself, living up to the hype surrounding him. In Sunday’s intense practice, Young flexed that potential, stuffing veteran running back Adrian Peterson at the goal line.

Young is known for his dominant pass rush skills. But he can be a strong asset sealing the edge to aid stopping the run. Tight end Logan Thomas appears to be no match, as Young dusts him away to hit Peterson from the strong side. Even fake-hand off action from wide receiver Steven Sims Jr. didn’t fool Young on the play.

“It just shows you how dynamic the young man can be,” Washington head coach Ron Rivera said of Young’s play, per Kyle Stackpole of WashingtonFootball.com.
