Washington Football Team linebacker Thomas Davis did not practice Thursday, as he continues to deal with a calf injury, according to Washington’s injury report. Cornerback Kendall Fuller was limited in practice with a knee issue.
Both Davis and Fuller missed portions of training camp. Fuller’s absence is significant. He signed a four-year, $40 million deal during the off-season and is listed as a starting cornerback on Washington’s depth chart.
Washington carried six cornerbacks on their initial 53-man roster in part due to Fuller not being 100%.
Davis’s status is in doubt for Sunday’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. He is listed behind Shaun Dion Hamilton at outside linebacker on Washington’s depth chart. Kevin Pierre-Louis is listed as the other starting outside.
Rookie offensive tackle Saahdiq Charles remained limited with a calf. Defensive tackle Jonathan Allen (knee) and Antonio Gandy-Golden (concussion) were full participants in Thursday’s practice.
