For the first time in his 21 years of ownership, Dan Snyder will miss a Washington Football Team game. The owner and his wife did not travel to Arizona for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals. The couple are in quarantine after coming into contact with someone who did tested positive for COVID-19.
The team physician Dr. Anthony Casolard released a statement on the status of the Snyders.
Both Dan and Tanya Snyder have tested negative for the virus. But, the team will proceed with caution.
The NFL has gone through great measures to keep players and team personnel safe during the coronavirus pandemic. No player tested positive for the virus for Sunday’s Week 2 slate.
Washington is looking to start the season 2-0 for the time since 2007. They’ll have their hands full going against the promising Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals, who beat the defending NFC champions San Francisco 49ers in Week 1.
