Washington Football cornerback Kendall Fuller will miss his second straight game with a knee injury, according to multiple reports.
Fuller signed a four-year, $40 million deal this off-season to become Washington’s prized acquisition in free agency. He was returning to Washington after being traded by them to the Kansas City Chiefs for Alex Smith in 2018.
However, his return on the field is yet again delayed by a knee injury that also kept him out of the end of training camp.
Fuller missed Week 1’s win over the Philadelphia Eagles. He returned to practice this week but was downgraded to limited on Friday and listed as questionable.
Ronald Darby, Jimmy Moreland and Fabian Moreau will be the top-three cornerbacks in Fuller’s absence. They’ll try to contain DeAndre Hopkins and the Arizona Cardinals’ receivers.
Last week Moreland and Moreau each caught interceptions off Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.
