Dontrelle Inman mum on playing Week 4: ‘You gonna pay my fine if I say yes or no?’

Dontrelle Inman was one of six Washington Football Team players not to practice Wednesday due to injury. The wide receiver is nursing a wrist injury he suffered late in Week 3’s loss to the Cleveland Browns.

The injury cut short and otherwise solid day for Inman, who caught two touchdowns in the loss. X-rays after the game were negative for a fracture, but it’s unclear if he will be available for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

When asked if he will be able to play, Inman remained mum, asking Washington media “You gonna pay my fine if I say yes or no?”

Inman’s response falls in line with head coach Ron Rivera, who does not like giving details on player injuries. Inman’s level of participation in practice Thursday and Friday will help paint a clearer picture on if he is able to play against the Ravens.

Having Inman out could be huge for Washington’s already struggling passing game. Slot wide receiver Steven Sims was limited against the Browns with a toe injury. Sims didn’t practice Wednesday, as well.

Inman has seven catches, 76 yards and two touchdowns on 16 targets this season.
