Logan Thomas has been up and down in his first season as Washington tight end. However, Sunday he made his best play thus far this season with a toe-dragging snag in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown.
Washington quarterback Kyle Allen threw a perfectly placed fade to the corner. That allowed Thomas to box out New York Giants cornerback Julian Love before dragging his toe in bounds for the touchdown.
The score was Thomas’ second touchdown of the season. It was exactly what Washington needed, as they trimmed their deficit to 13-10 against the winless Giants just before halftime.
