Chase Young excited to play Thanksgiving: ‘LeBron’s gonna be watching’

Following their 20-9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the Washington Football Team has to shift focus for a quick turnaround to play the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The NFC East clash will be Washington’s first scheduled primetime game of the season.

Chase Young is excited for the opportunity to play in the limelight on Thanksgiving. The rookie defense end anticipates everyone will be watching, especially NBA superstar LeBron James.

It’s safe to assume James will be watching the rivalry game. He is widely recognized as a Dallas Cowboys fan. Additionally, the Akron, Ohio native is a huge fan of Ohio State football where Young starred at before becoming the second overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.

Chase Young looked impressive Sunday against the Bengals with three tackles. That included his monster hit on quarterback Joe Burrow at the goal line. He will look to carry that momentum into Thursday’s game at Dallas, and hopefully he will impress King James.

Despite the subpar record of 3-7 by both teams, a lot will be riding on the game. For starter it will be latest edition of one of the league’s marquee rivalries. Additionally, the winner will momentarily move into first place of the NFC East.
