Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant is one of the more vibrant players in the NBA. Sometimes his energy and excitement can be detriment.
That was the case in the third quarter of Saturday’s game against the Orlando Magic, when the 23-year old slammed a putback on his own basket.
Bryant was going for the rebound when his aggression turned into an Orlando Magic bucket. Bryant will probably draw another laugh from Blake Griffin once the Detroit Pistons’ forward see this.
The bucket was credited to Orlando’s Evan Fournier.
Fortunately, Bryant got those points back and then some. He scored 11 points in the third quarter from that moment on. Still, he is sure to be the butt of jokes and a strong candidate for “Shaqtin’ a Fool” by Shaquille O’Neal.
