Frustration has spilled over as the Washington Wizards continue to lose games. Bradley Beal is doing all he can, leading the NBA in scoring this season, yet, injuries, COVID-19, and lack of depth have hand tied the Wizards, who sport the worst record in the NBA at 3-11.
The Wizards’ latest defeat came Wednesday against Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans, despite Beal dropping a game-high 47 points. As the final buzzer sounded in the 124-106 loss, Beal’s wife, Kamiah Adams Beal, tweeted her frustration.
She also tweeted this, which could be assumed related to Beal’s situation
Wizards fans share the same frustration as Mrs. Beal. They’re “sick of it” too. Count in Mr. Beal as well.
When asked if he is frustrated by a reporter, Beal’s response was painfully clear.
The epitome of Washington’s recent string of losing is exemplified in Beal’s consecutive losses streak when scoring 40 or more points.
The loss to the Pelicans comes a day after Washington lost to John Wall and the Houston Rockets by 19 points. Wall was traded in December by Washington for Russell Westbrook after Wall spent 10 years with the organization as the cornerstone.
MEanwhile, the Wizards are trending to a third-straight losing season. If the losing doesn’t cease, it may not be too long before Beal is also traded to a better situation.
