Jeremy Sprinkle is crossing enemy lines for his new NFL home. The Dallas Cowboys announced they have signed the former Washington tight end.
Sprinkle played four seasons with Washington after being a fifth-round draft pick in 2017. He had 34 catches for 301 yards and three touchdowns during his time in Washington. He was mostly known for his run blocking on the edge.
Sprinkle’s best season statistically came in 2019 when he started 13 games and was thrust into being a receiving tight end due to injuries at the position. He had 26 catches for 241 yards and a touchdown that season.
Now, he joins a Cowboys tight end room that consists of Blake Jarwin, Dalton Schultz, and Sean McKeon as well.
