Watch: Russell Westbrook slams amazing one-hand alley hoop

Russell Westbrook made NBA history becoming the first player with four seasons of at least 25 triple-doubles. But the walking triple-double wowed onlookers by slamming an amazing one-hand alley hoop in the Washington Wizards’ 121-100 win over the Detroit Pistons.

Westbrook went into Odell Beckham mode when rookie Deni Avdija lobbed the ball up.

Westbrook is one of the most athletic players in the NBA. He has been a highlight reel throughout his 13-year career. Saturday’s dunk is just another example of his freakish athleticism.

Westbrook is seemingly putting the Wizards on his back as the team pushes for a spot in the play-in round. The Wizards have won six of their last seven games with Westbrook recording a triple-double in all but one game. As a result, Washington sits in a tie with the Chicago Bulls for the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference and final play-in spot.
