Maryland RB Tayon Fleet-Davis makes sick one-hand grab

Maryland senior running back Tayon Fleet-Davis is primed to be the featured back in the Terrapins offense. His speed and one-cut abilities is sure to push him ahead of the pack in 2021. But his pass catching skills is what may actually have fans in awe, much like his spectactular grab he made in Saturday’s spring game.

Fleet-Davis slipped out for a screen when the pass was a bit off target. That didn’t stop the tailback as he turned around snagged the ball one-handed before turning up field.

He made the sequence look effortless. His teammates were riled up by the catch.

Fleet-Davis missed much of the 2020 season after serving a year-long suspension for a DUI arrest in November 2019. He practiced and worked hard in the background while suspended. He eventually appeared in Maryland’s season finale against Rutgers. But now he is ready to take the helms leading the Terrapins’ offense from the backfield.
