Montrezl Harrell has been a pleasant addition to the Washington Wizards. Saturday against the Boston Celtics, the Wizards’ new big man channeled his inner-Steph Curry, draining a half court shot to beat the buzzer at the end of the second quarter.
Harrell had made just five three-pointers in 392 career games prior to Saturday. He now has made six. His logo trey extended the Wizards lead to 53-47 at halftime.
Washington has enjoyed the addition of Harrell along with the other two pieces they acquired in the Russell Westbrook trade — Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
The Wizards won four of their first five games of the season. Harrell is averaging career-highs of 19.2 points and 9.4 rebounds thus far this season.
