Logan Thomas capped off an impressive opening-drive for the Washington Football Team with a jaw-dropping one-handed touchdown catch.
Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke sailed his pass up high to the back of the end zone. However, Thomas used all of his 6-foot-6 height, jumping up and snagging the ball out of the air with one hand.
The score gave Washington an early 7-0 lead on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders. For Thomas, it’s his third touchdown, but first since Sept. 26.
Sunday is his second game back from a hamstring injury that forced him to miss six games. Thomas’ spectacular grab highlights his red zone presence. It’s something Washington’s offense missed with him being out.
