The shorthanded Washington Football Team caught a huge break off the foot of Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert.
On the Eagles’ opening offensive drive, a third down pass from Jalen Hurts to Goedert appeared to be a drop by the tight end. However, on further review the ball bounced off the heel of Goedert right into the hands of Washington safety Landon Collins.
Washington can argue they were robbed out of a pick-six as the whistle blew with officials thinking it was an incomplete pass. Fortunately, Washington cashed as Antonio Gibson jumped over into the end zone to complete the seven-play touchdown drive.
