Watch: Juan Soto still crushing home runs despite MLB lockout

The MLB lockout hasn’t stopped Washington Nationals star Juan Soto from hitting home runs.

Owners and MLBPA were unable to agree to a new collective bargaining agreement before MLB self-imposed deadline on Tuesday. Thus, the league has postponed the first two series of the 2022 season.

The lockout remains keeping MLB players from spring training. So those players have to find any means to keep in shape. Soto appears to be taking swings somewhere near palm trees.

The 23-year old shared a video of him crushing a moonshot during a game with others.

“WE PLAY LOUD, deadline is over spring training just started,” Soto wrote as the caption of the video.

Soto’s video comes at a perfect time as baseball fans are clamoring for the sport they love to resume.

Meanwhile, Juan Soto has emerged as one of the great young players in the league. Maybe more videos like this will keep the sport relevant and could be innovation to marketing players amid the lockout.
