The Washington Wizards have signed guard Devon Dotson to an Exhibit 10 contract, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Washington now has four players on an Exhibit 10 contract. The move allows Washington to control Dotson’s G-League rights for their Capital City Go-Go.
Dotson will compete with Quenton Jackson and Jordan Goodwin for the Wizards’ open two-way contract. Dotson impressed during Summer League action with the Wizards.
The Wizards would have to convert him to a two-way deal before the start of the regular season. Otherwise, he’ll be in line for a $50,000 bonus if he is waived and spends at least 60 days with the Go-Go.
Dotson previously played with the Chicago Bulls on a two-way contract from 2020 until he got waived in January.
The 6-foot-2 guard went undrafted in 2020 despite starring at Kansas. He averaged 18.1 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.1 steals per game during the 2019-20 season.
Last season, Dotson averaged 21.0 points on 46.7% shooting, 7.1 assists, and 4.6 rebounds in 25 games with the Windy City Bulls of the G-League.
