Amazon postgame interview with Commanders’ Brian Robinson overshadowed by ‘sell the team’ chants

Amazon Prime’s postgame show wanted to hear from Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. The rookie scored his first NFL touchdown less than two months after being shot twice during an attempted robbery.

Instead, the interview was drowned out by loud “sell the team” chants from nearby fans following the Commanders’ 12-7 win over the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football.

The chants referenced Commanders owner Dan Snyder. Snyder is the subject of multiple investigations into the organization’s toxic workplace culture surrounded by sexual harassment and misconduct.

ESPN released a stunning report on Thursday that Snyder is prepared to fight the other owners, the league office, and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell if the NFL attempts to push him out as Commanders owner.

According to ESPN, Snyder believes he has enough “dirt” on several NFL owners, league executives, and Goodell to “blow up” the league.

There’s been a loud outcry from former Commanders’ employees, fans, and media alike for Snyder to sell the team. Snyder won’t go out quietly. Meanwhile, the cry will get louder as long the Commanders’ owner stays in place.
