In an unfavorable sequence, the Washington Nationals are in an early 2-0 hole. Milwaukee Brewers catcher Yasmani Grandal tattooed a two-run home run off Nationals’ ace Max Scherzer in the first inning.
Scherzer surrendered a full-count walk to lead-off hitter Trent Grisham after two very questionable ball call by home plate umpire Mike Everitt.

Scherzer was not happy and neither was manager Davey Martinez.
Unfortunately, Grandal took advantage of Grisham’s walk, by jumping on a 98-mph fastball over the plate to give Milwaukee the early lead without Scherzer recording an out.
Grandal was 1-for-16 against Scherzer throughout his career with nine strikeouts. However, he was ultra aggressive and it paid off.
