Tomas Satoransky nearly brought the house down early in the second quarter of the Washington Wizards’ win over the Houston Rockets. The 6-foot-7 guard drove through the middle of the lane before dunking over 7-foot-1 Zhou Qi.
Satoransky’s dunk got a loud roar from the Capital One Arena crowd. But the reaction from the Wizards bench, more specifically, Marcin Gortat may have been just as sweet at the dunk.
Czech Republic Tomas Satoransky said he knows what “catching a body means” and called his dunk tonight, in which he caught a body, “top five” in his career since it happened in the NBA.

In his second year in the NBA, the Czech Republic native has progressed into the backup point guard Washington foresaw him as when they drafted him in the second-round of the 2012 NBA Draft.
Known for his ability to defend with his length on the perimeter as well as be versatile in the offense, Satoransky has been a bright spot off the bench. Against Houston, he scored six points on 3-of-3 shooting while adding four assists, three rebounds, and one block in the 121-103 win.
