Fresh off clinching their fourth playoff berth in the past five seasons, the Washington Wizards announced they will wear their “City Edition” uniforms for all home playoff games.
The Wizards introduced their new into their rotation back on Jan. 30 to rave reviews of fans, including a super fan in Nationals’ slugger Bryce Harper.
Last season, the Wizards wore the “Stars and Stripes” uniforms during the playoffs. However, those jerseys were discontinued with the NBA switching from adidas to Nike for the playoffs.
The “City” uniforms feature the words “The District of Columbia” on the chest plate which represents the nation’s capital.
