Bryce Harper Crushes Fourth Home Run in Three Days

Things may not currently be going the Washington Nationals’ way against the Atlanta Braves, but Bryce Harper is still in beast mode. The Nationals’ slugger had his streak of eight plate appearances without recording an out come to an end, but he more than made up for it. Harper crushed a no-doubter off Atlanta’s starter Julio Teheran in the third inning.

The homer was Harper’s fourth in three days. He also pushed his season RBI total to 13 through five games. He also continued his dominance over Teheran with his eight career home run off the Braves’ ace.

Harper, who will be a free agent at the end of season, is making an early statement for his second NL MVP title. He also is driving up his price tag while showing his importance to a team with World Series aspirations.

He is displaying an insane ability to stay discipline at the plate, crushing home runs when you give him something to hit like Teheran’s hanging 71-mph curveball and have the perfect vision to draw walks (seven currently on the season) when he is not presented something to hit.
