Eight years to date, Stephen Strasburg made his MLB debut striking out 14 batters, however, the eighth anniversary did not go as good. Strasburg exited his start after two innings with an apparent injury. The Washington Nationals have not announced the actual reasoning.
Dan Kolko of MASN noted how Strasburg favored his right shoulder while on the mound.

Strasburg allowed three runs and five hits on 35 pitches before he left and heading to the clubhouse after getting Joe Panik to line out.
Strasburg exited his last start after 6 2/3 innings on June 2 against Atlanta with what described as “cramps” in his non-throwing hand by Nationals manager Dave Martinez.
Strasburg had been relatively healthy in 2017, making 28 starts and posting a 15-4 record with a career-best 2.52 ERA, 1.015 WHIP, 204 striekouts and 47 walks. However, his career has been plagued with injuries mixed in with All-Star seasons.
The Nationals’ 2018 season has been plagued with injuries. They have already lost a significant amount of star-power bats with Ryan Zimmerman, Daniel Murphy, Adam Eaton, and Howie Kendrick already on the disabled list. Having to lose their No. 2 starting pitcher for an extended amount of time would be even more devastating to their chances of repeating as National League East champs.
