Twins Markieff and Marcus Morris will both enter free agency next summer and it appears the two are prepping ahead as both have joined Klutch Sports Agency run by LeBron James’ best friend Rich Paul. Paul also represents James as well as Washington Wizards star and Markieff’s teammate John Wall, who fired his agent and joined Klutch ahead of his contract situation two years ago.

Both Morris’ twins will certainly be looking for the best value in free agency. On one hand there will be some linking the jumping to Klutch to James, who recently signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. Could one or both of the Morris’ twins be heading to L.A.?

One angle to consider is the link to Wall. Both the twins are good friends with Wall and don’t doubt his influence being a part on some level of them deciding to join Klutch.

Markieff has expressed desire to re-sign with the Wizards, but Washington’s tight salary cap may deter those plans. If Wall had anything to do with it, the Wizards and Markieff would make it happen, but it would not be sensible to consider James’ influence in grabbing him and/or Markieff’s brother for the Lakers. James has had a tendency to play with fellow Klutch players, including Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith in Cleveland and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in Los Angeles.

Last season, Marcus averaged 13.6 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting 42.9 percent from the field with the Boston Celtics.

In three seasons with the Wizards, Markieff has averaged 12.7 points and six rebounds while shooting 46.7 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from three and 82.2 percent from the free throw line. All totals are above his career-average. He spent five seasons with the Phoenix Suns before being traded to the Wizards in 2016.
