What’s better than taking your first collegiate touch 28 yards for a touchdown?
How about taking your second collegiate touchdown to the house for a 65-yard touchdown?
That’s what Maryland freshman wide receiver Jeshaun Jones has done. The first-year wideout put Maryland back in front of Texas 14-7. This one coming on a 3rd-and-10 where redshirt freshman quarterback Kasim Hill found Jones down the seam with Longhorn defenders giving chase.

Jones currently has two touches for 93 yards and touchdowns, as the Terrapins are showing last year’s 51-41 stunner in Austin was no fluke as they are hanging tough with the No. 23 Texas Longhorns.
Jeshaun Jones for Heisman.

If anything, Maryland has learned they have a young gem in Jones, who is displaying he is explosive and prone to making big plays.
