For the second time this postseason, the Washington Mystics are changing their home arena. The Mystics, who are headed to the WNBA Finals for the first time, announced they will host Game 3 against the Seattle Storm at the EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va. on the campus of George Mason University on Wednesday Sept. 12. EagleBank Arena is operated by the Mystics’ ownership group Monumental Sports and Entertainment.

The Mystics previously held their postseason home games at Charles E. Smith Center on the campus of George Washington University, however, a schedule conflict forced them to find a new site.

The Mystics had to move out of the Capital One Arena, their regular season home, due to renovations in preparation for the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals upcoming seasons.

The EagleBank Arena’s capacity of 10,000 doubles the Smith Center’s capacity.

Game 4, if necessary, will also be at EagleBank.
