Already facing a 7-0 deficit, the Dallas Cowboys nearly received another early blow against the Washington Redskins. Quarterback Dak Prescott received a huge blow to the head from Redskins cornerback Greg Stroman.
The incident occurred as Prescott scrambled on a third down play. Looking to get to the first down marker down the sideline, Prescott tried to lunge forward but was quickly met by Stroman. It appears Stroman’s shoulder hit Prescott up high.

Prescott looked dazed after the blow and was immediately brought to the sideline for evaluation. Even former Cowboys great Tony Romo, who was doing commentary thought Prescott’s day was over.
Somehow Prescott cleared concussion protocol and was back on the field for the Cowboys’ next offensive possession. However, as CBS cameras caught, Prescott may have still been experiencing some cobwebs with him using smelling salt as he took the field.

As the game goes along, it’s definitely worth monitoring how Prescott reacts and plays.
