Austin Rivers may have some explaining to do with his Washington Wizards teammate John Wall. While appearing on his ‘Go Off’ podcast with The Uninterrupted, Rivers revealed the Wall was expecting a baby.
“It’s crazy. We’re all having babies. Brad just had a baby, I had a baby, John has a baby due in a couple of months,” Rivers revealed.

There has been no inkling of such news, not from Wall, not from anyone. He has referenced to “my girl” in several interviews with Chris Miller of NBC Sports Washington in the past. However, Wall has been particular about his private life.
Considering the factors, if Wall is indeed expecting a baby, it would make sense that he wouldn’t want the news broken in this way for whatever reasons he sees fit. Certain Rivers wouldn’t just blab out such a news drop without having credible knowledge. So things could be a bit interesting in Washington’s locker room for a minute. Maybe not, maybe Rivers was given permission?
The Wizards are currently on a five-game west coast trip that started with a 125-124 overtime win over the Portland Trailblazers Monday. And will continue Wednesday against the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
