Markieff Morris has had a rough Sunday in Los Angeles. First the Washington Wizards forward was dealing with flu-like symptoms, leading to him being a game-time decision. He ultimately was good enough to play and start Sunday’s contest against the Clippers, however, his outing was cut short after receiving an inadvertent elbow from Danilo Gallinari in the second quarter.

He was attended to by the medical staff for several moments before he was assisted off the floor into the locker room. After an evaluation, he was ruled out for the remainder of the game being placed in the concussion protocol.
