The Washington Redskins video coordinator Jack Gruden, the son of head coach Jay Gruden, was arrested and charged with being drunk in public at Loudon One shopping center in Ashburn, Va. Saturday morning.
Details of the arrest reveal, Gruden, 22, was seen by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office patrolman arguing with another male. The officer intervened and separated the two individuals. However, Gruden later got in two additional confrontations with other people in the area and was eventually arrested.
Gruden was released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond.
The Redskins released a statement saying they are aware of Gruden’s arrest.
“We are aware of the arrest of Jack Gruden,” Tony Wyllie, the Redskins Senior Vice President of Communications, said. “We are gathering more information and will not comment until we have further details.”
Gruden’s arrest comes less than two months after Redskins safety Montae Nicholson was arrested at Loudon One and charged with assault.
