Redskins Announce Dates for 2019 Training Camp

The Washington Redskins announced Friday they will convene for the 2019 training camp from July 25 through Aug. 11. Training camp will be held at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond, Va for the seventh straight year.

The Redskins will host 22 public on-field sessions available to fans, featuring Fan Appreciation Day on Aug. 3. All practices available to the public are free. The team encourages fans to bring lawn chairs and blankets for sitting.

Training camp will feature the competition for starting quarterback between veterans Case Keenum and Colt McCoy, and first-round pick Dwayne Haskins.

Washington will also sort out their wide receiver position that added two rookies Terry McLaurin and Kelvin Harmon.

Washington also added key free agents such as safety Landon Collins and defensive back Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie during the off-season.

The Redskins will open their preseason schedule the week of Aug. 8-12 as they will travel to face the new-look Cleveland Browns.
