Trey Quinn is switching his jersey to a familiar number for him and the Redskins faithful. With the release of Josh Doctson, Quinn will be switching to college number No. 18, the jersey Doctson wore for three seasons in Washington.

The jersey switch is pending league approval. Quinn wore No. 18 in the one season he played at SMU. Let’s hope Quinn has a better tenure with the jersey number as it’s predecessor Doctson.

Other Redskins switching their jersey numbers include rookie cornerback Jimmy Moreland going with No. 32. He played throughout preseason with No. 25, but will not be permitted during the regular season as the number belongs to Chris Thompson.

Rookie left guard Wes Martin is switching to No. 67. Starting left tackle Donald Penn is opting with No. 72. Rookie linebacker Cole Holcomb is switching to No. 55.
