Josh Doctson has found a new home. A day after going unclaimed off waivers, the former Redskins wide receiver has agreed to a deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Washington waived Doctson after three disappointing seasons after the team drafted him in the first-round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The Vikings are essentially swapping first-round busts as they waived Laquon Treadwell, who was selected one pick after Doctson, on Saturday.

Teams avoided to claim either wide receivers, allowing them to be free agents. Doctson reunites with his original Redskins quarterback, Kirk Cousins.

In three seasons with the Redskins, Doctson had 81 catches for 1,100 yards and eight touchdowns. The Vikings are hoping to get more production out of the former TCU product. It’s unclear what role Doctson will play with Minnesota. Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs are the primary targets of Cousins.

After not materializing with the Redskins, Doctson will hope to shake off the bust adjective in Minnesota.
